Here's an interesting search string for finding
breakouts (watch type) that may break out
from a tight price range (tighter stop limits).
Stocks breaking out from a tight price range
may act like a compressed coiled spring giving
breakouts with quick extreme rallies.
Search String (set using "set search"):
#,23456,,345,00!0!!0!000,12,000000000000,3456,2,2345,000008#
Search is sorted by breakout profit. Your custom "output style" should
include price, volume, price change, short term direction,
breakout and Target 1 up. Using these fields will help you quickly
select from the search output the types of stocks perferred.

What a great search - thanks!
I'm having some trouble on assigning this string to a custom name. What are the specific steps that will keep this search string in the Custom Name I've assigned it?

To save a search (from the SearchTool Help Page):
After you use "Set Search" with a search string:
Saving your Searches:
- Once a good search is created it is important to save this search for
later use.
- To save a search select one of the 25 open slots under the
pulldown "Set User Preset Search as" (located just above
the "Search!" button) and enter a search name (up to 30 chars).
- To recall a saved search select your preset from the pulldown "Recall
User Preset" located in the Overall section.
